Joe Tesori, Jr. won the 39th Oswego Country Club Invitational, winning the title in a 3-ma playoff. Now in its 39th year – as one of the few individual play, Invitational Tournaments still in existence in Central New York, the Oswego Country Club Invitational is an Oswego institution sponsored by Eagle Beverage and Michelob Ultra.
Tesori birdied the first playoff hole to edge out Don Van Gorter and Aaron Fiorini. Tesori, of Cortland CC led after the first day with a 2 over par 73. Tom Roman Jr. of OCC, Fiorini of McConnellsville Golf Club and Pete Gilder followed him closely with matching 74’s.
