OCC DRAFT TOURNEY RESULTS
The Annual Oswego Country Club Draft Tournament was held Saturday, May 12. Seventeen teams assembled with the team of Ike Sanford, Scott Peters, Dave Eamer and Joe Doviak captured the event with a Captain and Crew score of 61.
The team of Stoie Donovan, Ken Sturges, Mark Murray and Carl Miller finished one shot back, shooting a 62 to place second. Two more shots back with a round of 64 was the team of Jon Fowler, John Romeo, Bill Chick and Milton Slimmer.

OCC JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM UPDATE
The OCC Junior Golf League is scheduled to start on Thursday 6/28/12 at 8 a.m. and continue every Thursday to 8/23/11 with the exception of 8/16/12.
The Junior Clinics are going to be held Tuesday mornings in July (3, 17, 24, 31) in the practice area starting at 9 a.m after the Tuesday morning 18 hole league. The clinics will not interfere with play on the course. The clinic age groups are as follows: 7 – 9 years, 10 – 12 years, 13 – 17 years depending on ability.

HANDICAP POSTING STARTS
Handicap posting begins April 15 for Oswego Country Club members. Whether you play at OCC or visit one of our great recipricol courses around central New York, the time has come to begin posting your scores to develop your golf handicap for 2012. You can either input your scores in the handicap computer located inside OCC between the 1897 Dining Room and the Century Tavern, or you can input scores electronically by going to GSHandicap.com to access the handicap system.

THANK YOU to everyone who assisted in the Oswego Country Club’s annual membership volunteer clean up day that took place on Saturday, March 31. The course is open and in great condition and we appreciate everyone’s help in clearing sticks, branches and debris.
NOTICE TO ALL OCC MEMBERS: Scores can be added to handicap system starting April 15.

REQUESTS BEING ACCEPTED FOR 2012 EVENTS
It’s never too early to start planning for your 2012 Golf Event. Requests are now being accepted for events at Oswego Country Club in 2012. OCC has hosted numerous member events as well as non-member events throughout the years and 2012 will be no different.
